Angelo Paul Sevarino has maintained a private practice of law since 1980. In 2012 he became of Counsel with the firm of Morrissey, Morrissey, & Mooney, LLC with offices in West Hartford and Naugatuck. Prior to entering the private practice of law, he was employed in regional and home office managerial positions within the commercial property-casualty insurance industry holding positions in commercial underwriting, commercial claims and field operations.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology (BA'71) and Master of Arts degree in educational psychology (MA'72) from the University of Connecticut. While a graduate student he was teaching assistant instructing a course in educational tests and measurements. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Western New England College School of Law (JD'78).

He is a Board-Certified Specialist in Workers' Compensation since May 2001, is nationally credentialed by the commission on Health Care Certification (CHCC) as a Medicare Set-Aside Consultant- Certified (MSCC)*, served on the Examining Committee for applicants in the Connecticut Workers' Compensation certification process and sits as a member of the Workers' Compensation Commission Legal Advisory Committee. He is admitted to all courts of the State of Connecticut, as well as the United States Federal District Court of Connecticut (1980) and the United States Supreme Court (1984). He has been active in the Connecticut Bar Association since 1980. He is a former officer and served as its Secretary (1996-1997); was the founder and first chair of the CBA Young Lawyers Section Workers' Compensation Committee (1982-1984); is a member since its inception of the CBA Workers' Compensation Section Executive Committee serving as its founder and first chair (1984-1986); Was a founder and first editor of Compensation Quarterly, the quarterly review published by the CBA's Workers' Compensation Section (1990-1992); founded and chaired the Lawyer Specialty Committee (1993-1997) and served as Connecticut's Liaison to the American Bar Association Workers' Compensation Committee (1994-1997). In addition to his membership with the Connecticut Bar Association he is a long-time member of the workers Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG) and National Alliance of Medicate Set-Aside Professions (NAMSAP).

He is rated..."Av" by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, was inducted in 2011 as a FELLOW of the College of Workers' Compensation Lawyers; is the recipient of the 2005 Achievement Award presented by the Connecticut Italian Bar Association and the 2007 recipient of the Edward Pomeranz/Edward O'Brien Memorial Award for Excellence and Achievement presented by the Workers' Compensation Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. He is also the Democratic Registrar of Voters for East Windsor, CT and is certified as a registrar of Voters by the state of Connecticut.

He is a principal in Integrated Settlement Solutions, a mediation firm located in Farmington, CT.

He authors "Settlements, Offsets and Set-Asides" (2004), "Practitioner's Guide to Settlements, Offsets and Set-Asides" (2009), "practitioner's Reference Manual to Settlements, Offsets and Set-Asides" (2013) and "Practitioners' Reference Manual to Settlements, Offsets and Set-Asides- Second Edition" (2016), with Cumulative Supplement NO. 1 92018) all published by Atlantic Law Book Company, West Hartford, CT. He also currently authors "Connecticut Worker' Compensation After Reforms" now in its Seventh Edition.
